London-NY Overlap
The Asian session is great for range trading. The London session has the highest volume. The NY session has the most volatility. I trade NY because I prefer volatility over volume. Choose your session based on your personality, not your schedule.

Last year I started trading London session exclusively. Honestly? Best decision I ever made. The volatility during London open is incredible — 600-1000 pip ranges that you just don't see in Asian session. Frustrating at first, sure, but once you learn the rhythm it's amazing. Personally, I'd never go back to trading any other session full-time. Incredible. Frustrating.
